  2. Son of Sysop V1.2 -- Mansion Utility.

  4. SOS New Uploads module Features / Options:
  5.         Creates new upload reports for msg. bases and email.
  6.         Easy Configuration from the program itself.
  7.         SOS creates your new files report aprox. 1000%
  8.           faster than NewManFiles processed.
  9.         You may select any combination of days of the week
  10.           for this module to run.
  11.         Report is sent to the Sysops mailbox in Mansion
  12.           when new files are found.
  13.     Optionally...
  14.         Report can be sent to any 'Echoed' (or standard) message area.
  15.         A 2nd report can be sent to a 2nd echoed message area.
  16.         Reports are added to Tabby Generic Export to be sent on to other
  17.           BBS systems and/or Points.
  18.         Maintains a daily copy of the report on your disk that can
  19.           be viewed in any number of ways using Mansion
  20.           (i.e. logon script, text read menu cmd. etc...).
  21.         Reports include unvalidated files.
  22.         Sysop mail report IDs number of unvalidated files.
  23.         Can be configured to search only the file areas you
  24.           wish to be displayed.

  26. SOS NewUser Welcome Mail module:
  27.     Added module to allow you to automatically send a message
  28.     to new users.  You create the message and all new users 
  29.     will receive it in email.  This is currently a 'netmail'
  30.     type message. This may be changed to local in the future.
  31.     You must do some special things with your Visitor script
  32.     to use this module. Read the manual!

  34. SOS Files Creator module:
  35.         Automatically creates a 'FILES' list of all the files
  36.           available on your BBS for users and/or file requesters.
  37.         Adds your own custom header message to the Files listing.
  38.         Can be configured to search only the file areas you
  39.           wish to be displayed. You can now configure the 
  40.           days of the week this module is to run.

  42. SOS Log Management module:
  43.         Can be configured to automatically send the UserLog to
  44.           your mail box every night and delete the existing
  45.           userlog.

  47. SOS Approve Files module:
  48.         Approve new uploads after x number of days.
  49.         Reports generated on new uploads

  51. SOS New Members Report:
  52.         Reports new user info to Sysops email daily.

  54. SOS ExtraFilesMgmt.
  55.         Automatically have any set of files (500max) sent to
  56.         Sysops email and delete from disks if selected.

  58. SOS Update Status bar
  59.         Update Mansions Status Bar information nightly and
  60.         report on daily stats.

  62. SOS Weekly Stats.
  63.         Every Friday a report of the number of connections
  64.         each day of the previous week is sent to the Sysop.

  67. All the taglines and node numbers are consistent in email.

  70. EXTRAFILESMOVER: This module can now accept files of ANY
  71. size!  If the file to be moved to the sysops email is larger
  72. Tabby likes, it will be split up as part 1, part 2, etc...
  73. Use this module for any large files! (like the Tabby Log)

  75. Error checking added for file areas without section.dir files
  76. created yet. (New BBSs w/o any files uploaded yet)

  78. All activities are logged to the Mansion Log, Tabby log or
  79. any other place of your choice.

  81. Son Of Sysop runs daily and automatically in Mansions AutoEvent chain.
  82. SOS is one application with modules within. Everything is easily
  83. customizable by the Sysop. Processing of all modules takes only
  84. 2-4 minutes time on a stock Mac Plus with a 2000 file transfer section.
  85. Runs in System 6 and System 7.

  88. the filename of SonOfSysop.Sit.
